Course Description
This program offers an introduction to the skills required to conduct and report voluntary, non-custodial interviews in public areas of transportation systems. This program covers the basic of interview procedures, and can be followed up with advanced training in specific techniques such as Reid, Wicklander and Behavioral Pattern Recognition.
Aviation Security Professionals
should be familiar with what conduct constitutes
a seizure under the Fourth Amendment and they should
be familiar with what conduct may taint statements.

Classroom lecture, discussion, PowerPoint, video scenarios, role-play, practical exercises.
Students will be provided with instruction and an overview of problems, solutions, procedures, policies and techniques for interviewing "persons of interest" in a public setting.
