LSI partners with Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC), which provides courses designed to lead to a Security Management Coordinator Certificate, and a Safe and Lock Technician Certificate.

Additionally, all Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) approved LSI courses may be accepted toward the completion of technical requirements for an Associate of Applied Science in General Occupational Technical Studies or approved Homeland Security Emergency Management (HSEM) certificates and degrees.

BCTC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; KCTCS is comprised of 16 colleges with 67 campuses across the state.
